5 Popular Non-fiction Books That Actually Deserve Their Hype
Over-hyped books that truly make a difference
I have a confession to make.
I rarely read popular and over-hyped books.
Like, almost never. I’m not sure why it happens, but usually these books…disappoint me; I don’t see the appeal everyone else is gushing about.
But, as with everything in life, there have been some exceptions. Every once in a while, I pick up an overly-hyped book and see its magic.
That’s exactly what this list is about: popular, mainstreamed books that truly made a difference for me and, IMO, actually deserve their hype.
Let’s dive right in, shall we?
#1. The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday & Stephen Hanselman
Genre: Philosophy
Length: 416 pages
Rating on Goodreads: 4,21 stars
This part philosophy, part self-help book was also on my list of the top non-fiction reads for 2022 — and that’s for a reason.
