Now, I love quotes as much as everyone, but I gotta admit there are some incredibly popular quotes I strongly disagree with.
Actually, if I’m allowed to be completely honest, I think they’re total bullshit.
Here are my favorites.

Most actors would disagree on this one — probably Al Pacino himself.
I swear this quote is all over my Instagram feed and it’s one of the first things that give my newly smitten friends away — because of course they post it on their Instagram stories.
Look, I love Scarface, and I’m pretty romantic myself, but this is one of the most bullsh*t quotes out there. The eyes do lie, my friends. People can look you in the eyes, upright lie to you and you might not notice a thing. Practiced liars fool people all the time.
Our eyes might reveal our emotions, but people can fake emotions as well. Just ask an actor — they do it for a living.
